Grow Your Passions with Passion Coaching!
Welcome to Passion Coaching!
Many teens struggle with school, mental health, and their future orientations because they don't understand their passions and how to grow them. Passion is an internal motivation that has five roots teens must be self-aware of in order to grow.
PASSION'S FIVE ROOTS
Passion is (1) a strong inclination toward a specific object, activity, concept, or person that (2) one loves, (3) highly values, (4) invests time and energy in on a regular basis, and (5) that is part of one’s identity (Vallerand et. al., 2003).
Passion Coaching guides teens to become self-aware of and grow the roots of their passions so they can incorporate their internal motivations into their future ortientations, including their plans, hopes, dreams, goals, aspirations, and ambitions.
We offer the following services:

"One particularly striking example comes from our freshman mentor, Mr. S. After just two months of working with Passion Coaching, he shared that their guidance has given him a toolkit to make his daily 60-minute mentor sessions with 20 freshmen both sustainable and rewarding. This is a remarkable shift from the burnout he had reported before. Similarly, his mentees have become more vocal about their aspirations. One student, who had previously disengaged from classes, chose to reengage with Algebra 1 after connecting the dots between their dream of starting a business and the math skills they needed to succeed."
Lucas Smith, 9th Grade Math Teacher & 9th Grade Mentor, Summit Prep Charter High School
"When my mentees met Paul and Mariamne, they were greeted with a personalized and compassionate structure that my mentees were not accustomed to and were challenged to think about their own motivations. After only four short days with Paul and Mariamne, I noticed an immediate change in all of my mentees demeanor; this made me invite Paul and Mariamne into my mentor class to continue working with my mentees."
