OVERVIEW OF PASSION COACH CERTIFICATION

The Passion Coach Certification trains youth-serving professionals to center conversations with youth around their intrinsic motivations. When conversations center around IM, youth experience more positive thoughts and emotions, deeper connections and belongingness, and explore what excites and gives them confidence about their life, their potential, and their future. 

High schoolers say they are only intrinsically motivated (in control) 23% of the time in school and extrinsically motivated (feel controlled) 77% of time.

Passion Coaches in training learn about the difference between Intrinsic Motivation and Extrinsic Motivation and the impact these types of motivation have on mental health and healthy relationships!

Youth Alliance is Passion Coach Certified!

Youth development staff and leadership at Youth Alliance are certified Passion Coaches! They are ready to coach thousands of youth they serve in discovering, exploring, and growing their passions!

The training includes a group training and then if Passion Coaches opt in additional on-site training using the Passion Coaching tools with an actual student.

• Mentors of high schoolers and middle schoolers

• Anyone who works with youth and wants to help them develop their intrisnic motivations and Motivational Resilience
